Genevieve Friedmann
MSW, LCSW, CST (she/her)
Hi, I’m Genevieve! And I’m here to offer a safe space for you to explore your thoughts and feelings without judgment, helping you figure out what you really want from life, relationships, and the future.
I specialize in helping people with their relationships. As an AASECT-certified sex therapist, I support clients through desire differences, sexual shame, mismatched intimacy, and the conversations that feel impossible, so you can communicate more clearly and feel closer and more yourself in the relationship you choose.
I love working with LGBTQ+ individuals and couples, helping them improve understanding, communication, and intimacy. As a queer therapist, I feel honored to work within my community and get to know your unique experiences and identity.
My style is warm, down-to-earth, and collaborative. I'm not here to just listen; I'll be actively engaged, giving you kind and honest feedback. And while therapy can dive into some heavy stuff, we can have a good laugh or two along the way.
If you're tired of feeling stuck in the same old patterns and are ready to make positive changes, let’s chat.
INDIVIDUAL THERAPY
$165 — 50 min.
For individuals ready to tackle the ups and downs of the human experience—whether you're dealing with anxiety, stress, identity issues, self-esteem, relationships, life changes, or grief, this is a judgment-free space where you can be yourself.
We'll chat about whatever's on your mind and work through it together, making sure you feel comfortable as we dig into the tough stuff. We'll work side by side to help you reach your goals and find a clearer path forward.
COUPLES THERAPY
$195 — 50 min.
For partners looking to work on their relationship together. Open to all relationship types, orientations, and structures, including LGBTQ+ couples. Whether you're monogamous, polyamorous, ethically non-monogamous, open, or exploring these possibilities, you'll find a knowledgeable and accepting space here to address your relationship concerns.
All relationship structures are respected, and we'll focus on what's important to you.
SEX THERAPY
$165/$195 — 50 min.
Similar to individual or couples therapy but with a special focus on sex and sexuality. We only discuss topics you're comfortable with, and we'll always move at a pace that feels right for you. Whether you're looking to address specific concerns or just want to include these discussions in our broader work, we're here to go at your pace.
We can talk about things like desire concerns, desire differences, kink, BDSM, sexual trauma, chronic illness and sex, to name a few. If you have any questions, please ask!
RELATIONSHIP INTENSIVES
Flexible sessions: 3 hr., full or multi-day options
For couples ready to make real progress—fast. Unlike weekly therapy, intensives offer uninterrupted time to focus on your relationship. Whether you're rebuilding intimacy, breaking painful cycles, or navigating a major life shift, this immersive experience helps you move forward with clarity.
If you're feeling stuck, craving deeper connection, or need focused time to work through something big, an intensive can give you the momentum weekly sessions can’t.

Therapy Intensives are for those who want real change—now. If you're ready to see progress in your life or relationships without waiting months, this could be for you.
Many couples use intensives to jump-start ongoing therapy, while others focus on a specific issue or stressor. Each intensive is customized to fit your needs and goals.
If you already have a primary therapist, therapy intensives can also work very well as an adjunct therapy, especially for couples. We can also discuss the option of utilizing a Release of Information so that your current therapist and I can collaborate/coordinate to best serve you.
